Dong Nai’s FDI Attraction Surpasses $108 Million In December

Foreign investors have poured more than US$108 million of investment in Dong Nai in December, according to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority.
The DIZA reported that US$12.5 million had been injected into 3 newly-licenced projects; meanwhile, over US$96 million had been added into 13 underway projects.
In 2021, foreign investors pumped US$1.26 billion in the province, fulfilling 172 percent of the yearly plan.
Among the sectors attracting FDI, support industries for textile-garment, footwear, electronic components, equipment and machines lured the highest amounts.
As of early 2022, Dong Nai attracted nearly US$27.6 billion in foreign direct investment; meanwhile, the disbursement of FDI in the period reached US$21.6 billion.
